Classical Media

Classical Media

Established in 1989 as The Classical Recording Company, and rebranded in 2015, Classical Media is one of the UK’s top facilities for the recording and post-production of classical music and related projects.

From the outset, the company has tried to achieve a balance between the purist recording techniques, much loved by many in classical music, and the realities of making high quality live and session recordings on location around the world.

Our clients range from major international record labels to individuals planning their first recording, and we are equipped to handle even the most complex recordings.

We have two digital location recording rigs, using state of the art equipment (some of which has been made specially for the company) and are available to record sessions and concerts anywhere in the world – [RECORDING]

Our HD video rig comprises 6 cameras and is ideal for the production of concert DVDs, web clips and competition DVDs – [VIDEO]

Our broadcast pedigree is second to none and we have produced many thousands of hours of programmes for the BBC and other radio stations – [BROADCASTING]

Our post-production studios, based around multi-channel SADiE editing systems, provide the ideal facility to edit and master your project, and we are equipped with full restoration facilities for vintage recordings – [POST PRODUCTION]

CD Production has been at the heart of our business from the outset.  We have in-house CD-R and DVD duplication and on-body printing equipment and a long established relationship with one of Europe’s top CD/DVD manufacturing facilities – [CD PRODUCTION]

All the staff at Classical Media are highly experienced in their specialist fields and between us we have more than 70 years experience in the industry – [ABOUT US]
